Originally from Toronto, Ontario, he was raised between the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), as far west as Mississauga and as far east as Whitby. He entered the music realm in 2007 while attending high school as popper and breaker. He was instrumental in forming popular dance groups such as Kid Robots (popping group) and ABC Kids (jerking group), a member of rap group M.O.E., and a founding member of THCSG. His performances spanned events such as school openings with Errol Lee Dance Group and SYTYCD (So You Think You Can Dance?) North York competitions. Recording and free-styling came late in 2009 with his desire to merge hip hop roots with the changing music culture. Featuring in music videos, “Bezzle from The 6ix”won rap battles at events like GotBarz rap battles.
His debut project is yet to be released, but “Bezzle from The 6ix” has a current music video, ‘No Lackin,’ shot and edited by his production company: T.O. Have Knots. The video is intense artistry merged with a beautiful combination of trippy imagery mixed and a classic music video feel. Set to release his mix tape, Turnip Tape, in the coming season, “Bezzle from The 6ix” is busy working with artist like Butterz G, Shoalin, City Mane, Ty or Die, Tha Nazdaq and many more.
With the new diversity of melodies and lyrical poetry in the ever-changing hip hop culture, there is but a small number of artist have a control and composition that stand up to “Bezzle from The 6ix’s” unique style, word play, diversity, flow, dancing, musicality and stage presence. He screams superstar in a class few newcomers can compare to. “Bezzle from The 6ix” is often compared to Andre3000, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar and Tupac, making it easy to understand the passionate following he has developed.
